A Calligraphy Moment in Ikenoue

Today, we welcomed a lovely guest who chose to write the word “Ikenoue” (池の上) during the calligraphy experience.

“Ikenoue” is the name of our small, peaceful neighborhood — a hidden gem just a short train ride from Shibuya. With its delicious restaurants, cozy cafés, vintage shops, and calm residential streets, it’s a place where you can truly feel the charm of everyday Tokyo life. Seeing our guest carefully brush each stroke of these familiar characters filled us with warmth and gratitude.
