The Beauty of the Four Seasons

Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful guest for our shodo experience. She chose to write the word, 四季 (The Four Seasons).

As the brush gently moved across the paper, we talked about the subtle beauty of ink shades and how each tone feels different, much like the changing seasons in Japan. She also enjoyed a warm matcha latte, and the tatami room was filled with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

It was a quiet and meaningful time shared through calligraphy and tea.
