新年のお祝いイベント!Experience this traditional Japanese practice of writing your first words of your new year resolutions with brush and ink!

Fee: 500 yen per wooden board (includes sakura tea and practice paper).

Enjoy a casual calligraphy experience open to everyone! Write your New Year’s resolutions with a brush on traditional wooden items such as hagoita (decorative paddles) or ema (wooden wishing plaques).

We’ll start with practice on paper, then move to the real boards! Don’t miss out on our special sakura tea, featuring organic green tea with salted cherry blossoms, available only on this day. Quantities are limited. No reservation required.

どなたでも気軽に参加できる書初め体験会を開催します。新年の抱負を、お正月らしい羽子板や絵馬などの木板に筆で書いてみませんか?まずは、半紙で練習して、いざ本番!この日だけの特別な桜茶(桜の塩漬けを入れた有機緑茶)をご用意してお待ちします。数量限定。ご予約不要です。

We’ve started getting ready for the Setsubun event.

Join us in making ehomaki (lucky rolled sushi), painting oni faces with brush and ink, shouting out loud, and throwing beans to ward off bad luck!

This traditional Japanese event is a way to pray for everyone’s health and happiness in the year ahead.
