Joyful Words for a New Beginning

Last month, I welcomed a lovely guest to our Japanese calligraphy experience. She chose to write the words, 楽 (Merry), 進 (Proceed), and 向上 (Progress).

Each kanji carried such positive energy and determination. As she carefully moved the brush across the paper, I felt her hopeful feelings for the new year reflected beautifully in her writing. It was truly moving to see her express her thoughts through these uplifting words.

I sincerely hope that this year brings her happiness, growth, and many joyful moments.
