Event Report: Interior Calligraphy Workshop

Interior Japanese Calligraphy Workshop with Eri

We hosted a special workshop at our salon yesterday — an interior calligraphy experience led by calligrapher Eri. It turned into a wonderfully international gathering with four adult guests— each from a different country — along with two lovely young guests.

As a bilingual instructor, Eri guided the session mainly in English while sprinkling in Japanese expressions. She encouraged everyone to enjoy free and creative brushwork, expressing not only characters but also their individuality through ink and movement.

After finishing their works, we relaxed with a tea time. Guests admired each other’s creations while enjoying matcha and traditional Japanese sweets — a warm and joyful moment shared around the table.

It was a lively and inspiring Sunday afternoon, filled with creativity, cultural exchange, and smiles. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and brought such vibrant energy to this event.
