“和 (Wa)” for Peace

In this season of August, many of us reflect on war and peace.
In the past, Japan experienced war.
Even today, conflicts and wars continue around the world.
With a wish for peace, I wrote the character “和 (wa)”.
“Wa” carries the meaning of harmony and peace.
It is also a character that often symbolizes Japan itself.
May all children live safely and peacefully in a world free from war.
