A Lovely Couple’s visit

We had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful couple to our shop for a calligraphy experience. Thank you for visiting us!

As the new season of spring marks the start of a fresh year, they chose to write their aspirations for the coming year. The kanji they selected was “鍛”, which means “to train” or “to strengthen.”

Calligraphy is an art form that expresses meaning through the contrast of black ink and white paper. Every kanji character holds meanings. Writing a character that is meaningful to you, with full concentration and intention, creates a moment of mindfulness and meditation—something rare in daily life.

We were delighted to see them enjoy this experience so much!
