New Year Calligraphy Experience

Celebrate the New Year with art and tradition. On Sunday, January 5th, we invite you to Oh! Mama in Ikenoue for a special experience of Kakizome, which is an event held in the New Year to encourage children to improve their writing skills.

Write your New Year’s resolutions with a brush on wooden tablets such as hagoita paddles or ema boards. Begin with practice on washi paper, then create your final piece. Both adults and children can craft an only one, special souvenir.

To enhance the experience, we’ll serve an exclusive organic green tea with salted cherry blossoms, available exclusively on this day. Its delightful aroma and taste will add a touch of elegance to your new year celebration.
