Sake

How are you spending your Saturday night? Many of you may be enjoying a drink, right? In Japanese, sake is referred to as nihonshu, which means Japanese alcohol. Sake is made from rice, and rice cultivation in Japan dates back to around the 5th century BC. For centuries, rice has been a staple food in Japan, and it seems that sake, made from rice, shares a long history as well.
