Join us in making ehomaki (lucky rolled sushi), painting oni faces with a brush and ink, shouting out loud, and throwing beans to ward off bad luck!
This traditional Japanese event is a way to pray for everyone’s health and happiness in the year ahead.

Join us for the Kakizome (New Year’s Calligraphy) event on January 5.

Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Fee: 500 yen per wooden board (includes sakura tea and practice paper).
Enjoy a casual calligraphy experience open to everyone! Write your New Year’s resolutions with a brush on traditional wooden items such as hagoita (decorative paddles) or ema (wooden wishing plaques).
We’ll start with practice on paper, then move to the real boards! Don’t miss out on our special sakura tea, featuring organic green tea with salted cherry blossoms, available only on this day. Quantities are limited. No reservation required.
