Tatami Moments

Thank you very much for visiting us today for a tea ceremony experience.
We transformed our shoin-style Japanese room, usually arranged with tables and chairs, into a traditional tea room.
Our guests enjoyed Japanese sweets and matcha tea while engaging in relaxed conversation.

Tatami rooms are becoming less common in Japanese houses these days.
But once in a while, sitting on tatami mats can be quite refreshing.
For those who haven’t experienced it yet, the unique memory of sitting in seiza and feeling your legs go numb might become a special part of your time in Japan!
