Japanese calligraphy (Shodo<\/em>) is a unique art form where you write beautiful Japanese characters using a brush and ink on white paper. Our salon is a rare traditional Japanese house in central Tokyo, complete with an irori (a traditional sunken hearth). You\u2019ll wear a jinbei, a type of traditional Japanese clothing, and step into the shoes of a calligrapher in a serene, beautifully preserved tatami room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our guide will support you carefully in both English and Japanese, so beginners are more than welcome.
