{"id":4719,"date":"2025-06-16T15:26:57","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T06:26:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oh-mama.tokyo\/?p=4719"},"modified":"2025-06-16T15:27:58","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T06:27:58","slug":"a-hot-day-and-unexpected-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oh-mama.tokyo\/?p=4719","title":{"rendered":"A Hot Day and Unexpected Visitors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today in Tokyo, the temperature exceeded 30\u00b0C (86\u00b0F), and it suddenly turned hot and humid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the weather forecast for the next two weeks, it seems the temperature will continue to surpass 30\u00b0C every day, with no sign of rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On such a hot day, we had some unexpected but delightful visitors at our salon\u2014three adorable baby ducks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since this morning, I had been hearing bird calls and wondering, \u201cWhat kind of bird could that be?\u201d I kept looking up at the trees and rooftops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, just after noon, I spotted the three ducklings waddling around our small gravel garden together.<br>When they noticed people nearby, they quickly hid from view.<br>I\u2019m sorry I couldn\u2019t show you how cute they looked, but a kind customer told me that the mother duck flew in and walked away with them.
