By the time December 26th arrives, the glittering Christmas lights are replaced overnight with elegant decorations that herald the arrival of the Japanese New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Year\u2019s in Japan is a time for family reunions, much like Thanksgiving in the United States. It\u2019s a cherished occasion when loved ones come together and share traditional dishes. It\u2019s also a moment to reflect on the past year and set intentions for the one ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
